New Direction Church Family and Friends!

During this Covid-19 season; I wanted to take time out to let you know that I am praying for you every day. I want you to be safe and lean on the word of God throughout this difficult time. As Psalm 119:11 reminds us, “I have hidden Your Word in my heart that I might not sin against You.” And the truth is, we need the Word of the Lord far more than we need the news of the world.

Here is a Prayer to Pray:

Most Gracious Father, we place our confidence and hope in You. We ask You for protection, healing, and provision. We ask You for wisdom to know how we ought to conduct ourselves as the body of Christ before a watching world. We ask that You would open our eyes to see ways to love our neighbor as ourselves. We ask You to use these uncertain and difficult times to bring renewal to our homes and communities. We ask that, by the power of Your Spirit, You would draw people far from You to place their trust in Jesus. In Jesus Name we pray, Amen!

Filling Our Hearts with God’s Word:

The unshakable foundation for our lives is God’s Word. It is our source of wisdom, comfort, and faith. It helps defines our current reality and illuminate our path forward.

Scriptures to meditate on:

“When you lie down, you will not be afraid; when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet. Have no fear of sudden disaster or of the ruin that overtakes the wicked, for the Lord will be at your side and will keep your foot from being snared.” Proverbs 3:24-26 NIV

  • Joshua 1:9

  • John 16:33

  • John 14:27

  • John 3:16-18

  • Philippians 4:4-7

How to Give:

God’s people don’t shrink from difficult times, instead, we react in faith believing that God uses our increased generosity to meet needs and shine a light of hope into the darkness people around us are experiencing.

One of the biggest ways you can help is to automate your giving. Set up recurring giving so that no matter how often we are able to gather, God’s work can continue

Please contact the church at (317) 544-8622 should you have any questions. Our answering service will get us a message immediately and we will be back in touch right away!
